As a dedicated parent of a son who faces severe intellectual, communication and behavioral challenges, I understand the weight and frustration of needing help but not knowing where to turn to first. That’s why our mission is simple: provide all individuals with the wellness education, tools and resources that they need to continue their life journey, understand the processes that leads to goal achievement, and instill a commitment towards accomplishment.

4 years in Adult Services vs. Today

In our family Failure is not an option.  Despite the opinion of experts, we continue to see positive gains in health and performance along with a reduction in severe behaviors.  By adding routine and scheduling to daily activities, Alex is able to increase his time on task without negative outbursts and tolerate more challenges as they are added to his schedule.  As our first client, our program was developed to address an individual who has sever intellectual, speech and behavioral challenges.  However, all of us complete the assigned tasks as a team activity and we are quickly learning that we are all seeing powerful gains from these daily challenges.  The strength of our program comes with active participation by both family and caregivers.

Brad Schael has spent 25 years tackling the challenges of raising a child with severe autism and progressing him through Adulthood.  The unique challenges faced by his son Alex throughout the educational process has left Brad with the firm understanding that as parents, we must always be acting on behalf of our children to support their growth and understanding of the world.  Brad has extensive experience working in Sales, Management and Technology Development at leading American and Japanese Manufacturers who have focused on having beneficial impacts on the world as a whole.

At one Japanese company, Brad was taught to "think globally, act locally" while stressing the importance of balance in life.  With an overall goal of creating job opportunities for all individuals, Brad believes that there are many best practices that can be adopted and taught to our adult community that come from the top business around the world today. At the Core of these best practices are healthy minds and bodies which is the foundation of everything we do.
